Sharing the stage with Yvette Walker was a complete joy. She was engaging and kept the attention of the audience with her insightful storytelling and teaching. Yvette did a short devotional on her book Finding Joy at the 2022 Fall in Love with Jesus Women’s Retreat in Broken Bow Oklahoma that I organized. She was great at listening and encouraging us with using the book to help us daily finding joy. She also prepared a Sabbath prayer on our Friday night dinner where we broke bread and took communion together. Yvette helped pull this retreat together with her speaking and I truly valued her time she gave us while she joined us there.
